Department of culture signed an agreement with the Italian Fund "Romualdo del Bianko"Tomsk news, 00:18, 27 October 20

On Wednesday it was the press-conference, conducted by the head of the department of culture in the administration of Tomsk region - Oleg Popov. Among the working spheres of the department, which a new leader will be engaged in soon, there is the development of international and interregional cooperation in the sphere of culture.

Particularly recently O.Popov succeeded in signing up an Agreement with the Italian Fund "Romualdo del Byanko". One of the matters of the Agreement is the creation of Russian-Italian cultural center on the territory of Tomsk - a special representation of the Fund "Romualdo del Byanko" in Siberia. Besides, in the Agreement there was one more large objective - the conducting of the presentation in Florence, devoted to the cultural potential of Tomsk region. This allows discovering objective preferences of the Italian side in the cultural product of a far Siberian land. Considering unified actions for 2006 the main theme of unified interests found its reflection - the wooden architecture of Tomsk. Thus, it was decided to conduct an International conference "Preserving of wooden architecture memorials" in the next year. The first tour will take place in Florence, the second - in Tomsk. Into the plan of the unified actions there were included publishing products of wooden architecture masterpieces in some languages and other programs in the sphere of culture. Cooperation with the Italian Fund will become one more step towards integration into European cultural community. Besides, it is planned to conduct the action "the Days of Omsk Culture" in Tomsk and also the returned visit of cultural community representatives of Tomsk region into Omsk city.
